Performance of uniblends and biblends in spring wheat

The performance of ten biblends, each in a 1:1 genotypic ration was compared with the performance of the involved five spring wheat genotypes grown in uniblends. The blends showed upto 10.33 percent higher yield than the mid component of pure stands. The varietal blends seem to have potential as a means of increasing crop yield.
