The impact of seven physical factors of the environment viz., maximum temperature, minimum temperature, temperature fluctuation, mean temperature, relative humidity, sunshine-hours and rainfall on the population dynamics of sucking pest-insects of field grown crop "FH-87", cotton was studied. It was found that the changes in temperature fluctuation, were positively correlated to the population dynamics of sucking pest insects as against those in the minimum temperature as well as that in the relative humidity, which were negatively correlated to it.
