[The in vitro reaction of three winter wheat genotypes to NaCl treatment]

To investigate the in vitro reaction of three winter wheat concentration of 4g/l and 6g/l NaCl, calli derived from immature embryos were used. The mean weight of calli befor and after treatment was determined. The investigated genotypes shown a different reaction at NaCl treatment; the highest reduction of the callus weight was registered to AF 93-2 and Fundulea 29 genotypes, and the lowest to Turda 81 genotype. The weight of calli was useful to emphasise the classification of the genotypes concerning their reaction to in vitro treatment with NaCl.
