Stability evaluation of selected set of spring barley varieties

A set of 20 domestic and foreign spring barley varieties was evaluated for two years at four locations. By means of selected stability parameters (regression coefficient - b sub(i), deviation parameter - Sd sub(i) sup(2), standard error for variety - S.E., ecovalence - W sub(i)) genotype x environment interaction was analyzed in 1989. According to the analyzed parameters, domestic varieties were more stable than foreign ones. Stability parameters were not correlated to grain yield, but to some yield components
