Production efficiency of the feed mixtures with sunflower cake and enzymes in the pig rearing and starting period of fattening

In a feeding trial with rearing piglets up to 17 kg live weight we have tested the starters OS-02 with 5% proportion of sunflower cake and with verified enzymic preparations, while in the starting period of pig fattening up to 37.5 kg live weight we have verified the alternative feed mixtures OS-03 with the equal 7% proportion of sunflower cake in all the feed mixtures, but with different enzymes. Sunflower cake was used instead of the soybean meal. Results over the whole experimental period (8.5 to 37.5 kg live weight) confirmed that the growth, feed conversion and costs of feeds per kg of live weight gain were insignificantly higher (P 0.05) in Kenzyme HF, followed by Kenzyme W Dry, Porzyme tp 100; and the lowest effect was recorded in Hostazyme X
