In paper are presented results of investigation of influence of different parent's origin on productivity of F1 sugar beet hybrids. Eighteen F1 hybrids originated from cms (cytoplasmic male sterility) lines obtained from populations originated from Yugoslavia, Germany and crosses betweem Yugoslav - American populations and two tetraploid multigern pollinators obtained from Germany were evaluated. Root yield, sugar content, impurities (K, Na and amino nitrogen) were measured, and the recoverable sugar yield and sugar yield were calculated. Trial was established at experimental field Rimski Sancevi of Institute for Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad (Yugoslavia) in five replications, RCBD design. Origin of cms (cytoplasmic male sterility) lines had significant influence on characteristics of F1 hybrids.
