Nutrition trial was performed using 60 lambs (30 males and 30 females) in fattening of F2 generation (crosses of Sarplaninska breed x Wuertenberg breed) divided into 3 groups. Lambs were weaned at 30 days of age and fattened for the following 54 days with complete forage mixtures of different protein sources and meadow hay. The results obtained show that daily gain per group of lambs was alike (226, 218 and 222 g) and with no statistical significance. Values of DM (dry matter) conversion (kg/kg) per group amounted 3.57 : 3.64 : 3.41, those of energy (NE/kg) 2.34 : 2.33 : 2.25, and of total protein 560.73 : 571.23 : 535.45 g. Dressing percentage per trial group was as follows: 48.95, 48.52 and 49.06. According to these investigations, livestock yeast yielded lower production results as compared to soybean meal, whereas the lowest results were produced by lambs fed by sunflower meal
