Definition of cardboard packaging ecologic quality

The ecologic quality, according to ISO 14000, means "the group of all features and characteristics of the product referring to their possibility to satisfy the set and expressed ecologic needs". In order to provide the ecologic quality in the production, the packaging materials and packagings have to fulfill the demands resulting in: preservation of natural resources, recycling possibility, decrease of negative products emission into the air, water and earth, decrease of dangerous substances content, decrease of water and energy consumption as well as the energetic efficiency, earlier degradation and decrease of waste. The cardboard packaging production process was recorded aiming to establish whether this kind of packaging fulfills the mentioned demands.
