arabe. A number of blocking agents cause the depression of immunological system, although a special attention, in the field of poultry diseases, from both scientific and economic views, should be payed to lymphotrophic viruses of infectious bursitis and Marek's disease. The purpose of this study was to determine a specific, sensitive, simple, fast and economic method in our laboratory for the diagnosis of subclinical infectious bursitis and its differentiating earlier on in the Marek's disease. Using standard pathohistological and immunohistochemical methods (direct peroxidase, indirect peroxidase, peroxidase - antiperoxidase and alcaliphosphatase - antialcaliphosphatase) these two virus diseases were precisely diagnosed. Immunohistochemical methods are of special importance being very precise, sensitive and specific for given antigens, confirming also the presence and location of the virus and, finally, they could be carried out in a few hours only.
