The investigation included 3 following genotypes: Arbor Acres, Avian and Hybro. After 42 days of age the greatest average body weight was in Avian broiler chicks (2026.04 g), while this parameter was the smallest in Arbor Acres chicks (1934.40 g). The lowest mortality rate (2.88) and feed conversion (1.87) were observed in Avian broiler chicks, while Arbor Acres had the highest mortality rate (8.80), and feed conversion (2.032). The best production index was obtained for Avian broiler chicks (250.52). Statistically significant differences were not observed for the traits of carcass conformation of different genotypes. Avian chicks had the longest shanks (80.40 mm) and keel lenght (101.00 mm). Breast depth (97.31 mm) and thigh girth (134.58 mm) were greatest in Hybro chicks. Dressing percentage was under the significant influence of genotypes. "Traditional processing" and "ready for grilling" were significant higher in Avian chicks in relation to Arbor Acres chicks. The yield of abdominal fat was not under significant influence of genotype.
