The inoculation treatments differed in their effects on shoot dry weight and depended on the P application. THe highest net dry weight benefits were derived by plants inoculated with Glomus fasciculatum and Acaulospora laevis at the lower P level. Benefit and cost analysis might be helpful in selecting the most efficient VAMF symbiosis when plants are grown in nutritionally poor soils.
