Microbiological characteristics of vermiculit and hydrous mica ameliorated meadow solonchak - solonetz

The pot experiment (13 variants in 3 replication) with indicator culture was carried out on meadow soda-sulphate solonchack solonetz aimed at trowing ligth upon the influence of hydrous mica and vermiculite on soil microflora. The data obtained show that the tested materials have no effect on the number of amonifying bacteria, sporeforming bacteria, cellulose decomposting microorganisms, fungal; the number of actinomycetes decrease by the application of their Fe-forms better expressed with hydrous mica; similar tendency is observed as regard to the bacteria grown on starch agar; the number of free living N2-fixing microorganisms is slightly increased under amellioration with Fe-forms of enriched and expanded vermiculite and nonenriched and enriched hydrous mica.
