Maxillar and frontal sinuses were studied in 49 newborn and growing up calves. Results indicate that the maxillar sinus in newborn calves is weakly developed and grows at coudal directions. The frontal sinus in the newborn calves consists of 2-3 to 4-5 separate parts and its rostral border coincides with those in adult animals. The caudolateral part of the frontal sinus begins to pneumatise the base of cornua at the age of 4 months.
