A field experiment was carried out over the period 1992-1996 to determine the influence of few predecessors (sunflower, maize, cotton, field bean, forage mixture, durum wheat - monocrop) on productivity of the "Zagorka" variety durum wheat at three levels of fertilization: T0 - with no fertilization, T1 - N80P84, T2 -N160P128 (kg/ha a.s.). In the first place was the couples haricot beans - durum wheat. As good predecessors were outlined cotton and peas - durum wheat composite. Average results was yield after sunflawer. On a least low level was yield and grain quality by the maize. A short-term durum wheat monoculture (2-3 years) not decreased grain production. Durum wheat fertilizer after haricot beans wasn't economic profitably. After the rest predecessors effective norm of nitrogen-phosphate fertilizer were N60P64. In unsuitablle years the mineral fertilizer beared a low yields.
