The results of these investigations substantiate the following conclusions: 1. The method of sorption isotherms of non-disturbed microstructure of soil and optimal moisture could be used for various soils with satisfactory approximation to regulate desirable P levels. 2. Application of differentiated fertilizer rates at a standard equilibrium P concentration reduces to a considerable extent the differences in yield between the soils. 3. The phosphate level corresponding to equilibrium P concentration of 0.3 mg/l in 0.01 M CaCl2 producing maximal yield with the highest uptake of a great number of nutrient elements could be assepted as optimal.
