Matematical models of stand density at competative interactions in one species plant populations

The purpose of the present work is to make a comparison between various models applied within the framework of a given class of functions from the point of view of their adequacy and also to demonstrate the differences between optimum dencities determined as a result of their application.Four submodels of the dependence "yield-stand density" have been generated through this class of functions.The results obtained clearly show that the choice of a model within the framework of a given class of models deserves greater attention also on considerations of economic character.
