Low pressure center pivot irrigation systems have become popular, because of energy savings they present. However, there are some problems with low pressure nozzles: higher application rates and evaporation/drift losses. To reduce these losses it is usual to use sprays on drops (hose) lowered near the top of the crop canopy. This work was carried out in order to quantify the influence of the deflector plate and installation height on the uniformity of application (CUC) in a low pressure center pivot equipment. The treatments were a combination of five nozzle diameters, five emitter heights, five emitter spacings and two deflector plates. A regression analysis was carried out to evaluated the influence of installation height on the coefficient of uniformity. It was found that linear model was the best to describe the relation between CUC and spray height. For all treatments investigated, the concave deflector plate showed the higher coefficient of uniformity (CUC) with the reduction of the emitter height
