Increasing farms total and arable land acreage also creates favorable preconditions for yields, profit and profitability growth. It enables to use the machinery more efficiently. At the same time the cereals growing variable costs are rising. Mainly it is caused by two factors. Firstly, the average transportation route length and therefore machinery driving time are increasing, as a result, the machinery daily performance is decreasing. Secondly, the farms transportation works amount is growing larger as the farms acreage growth effects the average transportation route length. In the case of homogenous distribution of the fields on the farms plot the transportation route length's average value can be calculated by analytical functions. Using the values of the transportation works amount increase and also the variable costs growth could be calculated
