[Evaluation of isoenzyme and seed proteins of intergeneric fescue-ryegrass hybrids by electrophoresis]

Peroxidase and amylase enzymes and seed protein - prolamine have been analysed using electrophoresis. Electrophoretic spectra of the peroxidase enzyme were in many cases identical to the spectra of parental ryegrass. Electrophoretic spectra of hybrid enzymes-amylase and of prolamine differ from the spectra parental forms in the composition of patterns and coloration intensity of individual patterns. The hybrid of meadow fescue 'Dotnuva 1' and perennial ryegrass 'Sodre' resembles more the parental fescue forms in terms of the composition of the electrophoretic spectra. The coefficient of resemblance between the hybrids and the var. 'Dotnuva 1' is 3.60-78.0.
