[Specification of tomato agrotechnique in unheated glasshouses]

The aims of investigation were to select tomato varieties and hybrids suitable for unheated glasshouses and establish planting distances. The most productive hybrid was Sveikutis F1 - 22.8 kg/Square m. The variety Viltis 2 produced the earliest yield. Tomatoes were planted in double rows (100 + 50 cm) at 30-40 cm distances. Planted denser tomato varieties and hybrids (at 30 cm) produced higher yield by 3.5-22.7 than the plants established at longer distances (at 40 cm).
