[Quality Evaluation of wheat grain grown in Latvia]

The aim of the given research has been to evaluate the quality of wheat grain grown in different regions of Latvia. The samples of wheat grain received from farms located in different regions have been analysed determining grain mass volume, grain moisture content the amount of admixtures and the extent of pest invasion. Considering the results of the analyses it has been concluded that the wheat grain produced in Latvia corresponds to the standard and to the requirements of processing food enterprises.
