Performance of glutinous corn (L-14) applied with five levels of Wokozim foliar fertilizer on combination with granular fertilizer

Growth and yield of glutinous corn (L-14) as influenced by five levels of Wokozim foliar fertilizer and its combinations were evaluated at the experimental area of the University of Southern Mindanao Agricultural Research Center (USMARC) [Philippines]. This was conducted from September to December 1997. Results revealed that the application of five levels of Wokozim in combination with granular fertilizer significantly affected glutinuous corn (L-14). Plants applied with Wokozim in combination with granular fertilizer regardless of the amount were significantly different compared to the unfertilized ones. Glutinous corn silked early when applied with five levels of Wokozim and its combinations. In terms of yield and yield components, the application of 60-3-3 NPK/ha + 2 li/ha was enough to effect a significant increase in the number of ears/plot, number of kernels/ear, thousand seed weight, and grain yield of glutinous corn
