Flowering and fruiting of some reforestation species in Mt. Makiling and Mt. Banahaw [Philippines]

The flowering and fruiting periods of 53 reforestation species were observed within a 4-year period in the forests of Mt. Makiling in Laguna and Mt. Banahaw in Quezon [Philippines]. Herbarium materials consisting of leafy twigs, fruits and seeds of the species observed were collected for authentication and reference purposes. A flowering and fruiting calendar for the species studied was prepared
