Microcuttings of pepper (cv. Bryza, Passat, Stano, ATZ, ATM, Stanola) were derived from half seed explants. They were grown and developed into normal fruiting plants in the greenhouse. Their yields and biological parameters of fruit were compared with those of 6 genotypes propagated traditionally. Analysis of the genotype effect on useful parameters and the chemical composition of pepper fruit showed statistically significant diferences in the number and weight of fruit, weight of pericarp, shape coefficient and vitamin C content, potassium, manganese and zinc concentration. The genotype ATM appeared to be the best for microprppagation
