Effect of long-term irrigation with municipal wastes on subterranean waters

Presented and discussed in the paper are the results of studies on chemical composition of subterranean waters on 5 objects of practical long-term irrigation with municipal wastes. Results of studies showed that on fields irrigated with such wastes, contamination occurs of subterranean waters with almost all components present in the wastes. The level of such contamination depends on the irrigation system and the amount of loading of the fields waste waters and on permeability of the soil. With low doses of wastes, the increase of contamination of the waters in not large in comparison with quality of waters from non-irrigated fields
