Soils in nature reserve with oak stands differ from each other markedly in the content of skeleton (62 % and 14 %) and in the supply of nutrients. These differences did not affect chemical composition of the foliage of oak growing on these soils but reflected in the stocking (lower with higher concentration of skeleton), canopy (higher with lower concentration of skeleton) and in different height of trees being greater by 5.7 m with lower concentration of skeleton.
