Integrated approaches in science and technology are presently applied in forest management planning for maximum and sustained yield. Aerial photograph and forest inventory are applied in data collection on forest yield and successional rate of trees while geographic information system and data processing system are recently used as tools for data analysis and retrieval. The present study was Conducted at Mae Teep Sector of Mae Ngao Demonstration Forest in Lampang in April 1993. By base on land use pattern, forest management planning of Mae-teep Sector of the demonstration forest can be divided into 3 parts. Firstly, natural forest cover an area of 207,222.83 Rai (85 percent) where forest improvement fellings and prevention of illegal logging are actively practiced. Successive forest inventory is applied in determining stand growth and yield information. Secondly, the deforested land cover an area of 31,627.77 Rai (13.09 percent) where reforestation and rehabilitation practices should be immediately carried out. Finally, the other land area including agricultural land and settlement area which cover an area of 2,847.46 Rai (1.18 percent) are subjected to long term encroached lands which might be possible to give land title.
