Germination percentage of high vigor seed of 2 corn varieties, Suwan 1 and Suwan 2602 was higher than the medium and low vigor seed. Growth rate of corn plants measured from early stage to 56 days, raised from vigor seed was higher as well as earlier days to flowering than those raised from medium and low vigor seed. But leaf area at flowering stage did not different among treatments. Concerning about grain yield measured from different method of planting indicated that grain yield recieved from corn plants raised from high vigor seed higher than those from medium and low vigor seed. However, grain yield from low vigor seed plant could be increased by using suitable planting method such as planting 3 seed per hole using 75*25 cm spacing and thinning for 1 plant per hill later on. Nitrogen fertilizer applied at the rate of 30 kg N per rai was recommended for sweet corn production. Therefore, in irrigated area 50 kg N per rai showed more profitable. Application time should be 2 times; firstly 1/2N applied at sowing while the left should be applied at 30 days after planting. The recommended spacing for the highest yield and quality of sweet corn production was 75*35 cm 1 plant per hill.
