In this research, boron amounts soluble in hot water (Dianthrimid and Carmin) and acetate were determined in 67 soil samples from taken Harran Plain and obtained the following results: 1. When boron amount extracted with hot water was taken into consideration, any boron problem couldn't be determined in 71.6 % of region soils. 2. When boron amount soluble in acetate was taken into consideration, it was found that 76.12 % of region soils contained boron in sufficient level, 2.98 % in excessive level and 20.90 % in deficient level. 3. Positive relationships between boron amount soluble in hot water and exchangeable K+ and Na+ amounts of soils were determined. Positive relationships between boron amount soluble in acetate and silt fraction of soils were also found
