The method is proposed of obtaining a biopreparation which includes growing microorganisms in a sterile nutrient medium with its subsequent drying. It is distinguished by the combined growing of a bacterial strain of Bacillus mucilaginosus, producing exopolysaccharide, and a bacterial strain of Klebsiella or Pseudomonas, producing an active ingredient in the ratio 1:1. The microorganisms are cultivated in a liquid nutrient medium of the content as follows: saccharose, Na2HPO4, MgSO4, glass, chalk at 30 deg C in the course of 48-72 hours. After that the cultural liquid is dried at 35-38 deg C. The detailed characteristic of the Bacillus mucilaginosus strain is provided. The the exopolysaccharide synthesized by the strain is consisting of carbohydrates (70-75 %), pyruvic acid (3.3), two uronic acids (8.0) and proteins (3-5 %). The invention simplifies the known methods of producing biopreparates for plants. The biopreparation produced is enriched with immobilized cells of the bacteria possessing useful properties
