Maksimovic, L.
Dependence of yield and morphological characteristics of corn on soil moisture and fertilization system in irrigation was studied in the field for four years. The study was conducted on a chernozem soil, within the irrigation system. There were two variants of soil moisture maintenance by irrigation (60 and 80% FWC) and the non-irrigated control. Fertilization variants, intended to provide N240 and constant amounts of P100 and K80, included: mineral fertilizers, liquid manure, one half mineral fetilizers and another half liquid manure, harvest residues and mineral fertilizers, harvest residues and liquid manure, P and K mineral fertilizers without the application of N and the non-fertilized control. The experimental object was the corn hybrid NSSC-640 which was regularly seeded in the last third of April in the arrangement 70x25 cm. The experiment plots received cultural practices conventionally used in intensive corn production.
