The testing of the stability of methenamine-hydrorodanide in Urotovet(R) dosage forms

Methenamin-hydrorodanide is the urinary antiseptic for veterinary use. Urotovet(R) powder, injections and cream were stored in defined conditions of temperature and humidity (25 deg C + 2 deg C/60% + 5% RH) during the period of three years, were examined. The following parameters are examined: content of methenamine-hydrorodanide, chromatographic purity, pH value and consistency. The examined parameters were within the limits during the storage. Urotovet dosage forms are stable and expiry date was confirmed.
