The aim of this work is to determine the pure water permeability and hydraulic resistance of three tubular ceramic ultrafiltration membranes, produced by Tech-Sep, type Carbosep M9, M8, and M7. These membranes are made of ZrO2 on carbon support with a molecular weight cut-off of 300, 50, and 30 kg/mol, respectively. The experiments were carried out over a wide range of temperatures (295-329 K), pressure differences (50-500 kPa), and feed water flow rates (0-800 cubic m/min). In the investigated range of operating parameters the hydraulic resistance Rm of membranes used for experiments is independent on temparature and feed water flow rate and slightly increases with increasing the pressure difference. The Rm values for Carbosep M9 membrane are in the range of (3.7-4.4) x 10**13/m, which is about one order of magnitude higher than that for a flat Amicon Diaflo PM-10 polysulfone membrane with a molecular weight cut-off of 10 kg/mol. The Rm values for Carbosep M7 and M8 membranes are in the range of (0.48-1.2) x 10**13/m, which is within the limits of the Rm values obtained for Amicon Diaflo PM-10 membrane.
