This paper presents the results of the six-year research of forest insect pests infesting the plantations of Weymouth pine (Pinus strobus L.) in the region of Kolubarski Basin (Serbia, Yugoslavia). In the above period, seven species from three families (Adelgidae, Curculionidae, Scolytidae) were recorded, of which two species, Epineus strobus (Htg.) and Ips acuminatus Gyll., had the highest significance to the survival of Weymouth pine in this region, as they attained a high population level.
