Norm of ovulation and number of lambs born from pure breed Tracian fine wool ewes and their crosses with Booroola

During the last year for an efficient improvement of reproduction abilities crossing was applied with rams of Booroola.The object of the study was to find out the availability of the F-gene in ewes, daughters of Booroola crosses rams, through determination of ovulation norm and number of lambs born.As a result of the study it was found that Booroola crosses ewes were with 1.3 higher norm of ovulation.No considerable difference was found in birth live weight at the two indicated ages of ewes.
