A study of the growth, the feed conversion ratio, the slaughtering, the energetic and aminoacid composition of the meat of Muscovy ducklings was conducted until their 10-th week of age.Male and female duckling bred mixed had higher live weight at the end of period than the same sex at separate sexual breeding (P0.05 and P0.001).The feed conversion ratio after the 8-th week for both sexes considerably increased especially for female ducklings.The content of gross energy and crude protein in breast and thigh and second thig muscles range within small limits for both sexes - for the energy from 443.8 to 478.9 kJ/100 g and for the protein from 20.10 to 21.75%.
