Results of study of various explant types of fruit and small fruit crops when introduced in vitro culture are presented in the paper. Characteristics of sterilization and initiation of growth of annual cuttings with woody and nonwoody regrowth, vegetative buds and apical meristems when introduced in vitro, it is necessary to introduce extra stages into the sterilization process that is conditioned by large dimensions and high degree of explantant infection. Sterilization methods are proposed. It is found that the introduction of explants of large dimensions (cuttings, vegetative buds) in vitro culture sharply reduces the duration of initation stage of in vitro culture
