The aim of the present paper was to explore the relevance of enviromental risk factors on mastitis incidence in dairy cows. For the elaboration of effective mathematical model for determining the risk factors for mastitis on the basis of their relevance, 9 tied housing cowsheds with 1304 milking cows were used 7 months long indoor period. The type of bedding, length of the stall, production unit and the mastitis incidence dynamics throughout the observable period were considered as risk factors. The housing and management were estimated during the visits to the farms. Local veterinarians sent the data of mastitis incidence monthly
