The Fungi Diseases of Tomato Seed and the Ecological Control Methods

As a result of the mycologic research the fifteen species of pathogenetic fungi have been revealed causing of internal and external infection. the thermal process phitocidnic substances, biological and chemical measures have been tasted against seeds fungous diseases. the treatments of tomato seeds by fungicides as Baytan, Baytan universal, Phentiuram, Phundazol, Vitavax by half watering method are the most effective among the examined actions. it make less the intensity of the diseases 61,6%-71,8%. It is also very effective the antagonistic fungis Trichoderma Koningii and T. Wiridi which are application as 2% sporeferous suspension 30 days before the sowing or before replantation. Dry Heating of the tomato seeds on the temperature of 55C under 12 hours exposure or 60C-8 hours erxposure makes them safe from internal and external infections 33,4%-34,2%. Rhe treated tomato seed with celery extract appears to be a harmless,accessible and cheap method, it lowers by 10,4% intersiveness of fungous diseases. The choice of theses methods depends on the degree of the seeds' contamination and availability of abovementioned methods, as well.
