[Effect of nitrogen fertilizers on the yield of first year thyme and its quality]

The effect of nitrogen fertilizers on the yield and chemical composition of thyme was investigated. It was determined that the total crop of the thyme increases with the increase of nitrogen fertilizers. The effect of fertilizers on the essential oil content and its composition was insignificant. The content of vitamin C as well as the content of nitrites was higher when the fertilizers were applied.
