The present paper lists insects identified as occurring on the bracket fungus (Fomes fomentarius (L. ex Fr.) Kickx) fruting bodies from of the "Cisy Staropolskie" yew reserve, collected over 1991-92; out of total of 61268 Arthropoda specimens, insects accounted for as much as 89,7 percentage. Here the dominant species were beetles, especially Cis sp. Latr. (Col., Ciidae) and Bolitophagus reticulatus (L.) (Col., Tenerbrionidae
