Pande, S. | Johansen, C. | Rao, J.N.
Botrytis gray mold (BGM) caused by Botrytis cinerea is an important foliar disease of chickpea. Its origin and distribution, losses caused, symptoms, causal organism and its variability, epidemiology, and host range are briefly reviewed. Information on integrated disease management (IDM) of BGM is collected. The IDM components reviewed are (1) host-plant resistance, (2) agronomic and cultural practices including effects of sowing date (escape), row spacing, plant type, and intercropping, (3) management by chemicals which include seed treatment and foliar sprays, and (4) management with biological agents
