The influence of bicultural farming sytem on content and composition of humus of orthic luvisol

Three-year small plot trial (1995-1997) was carried out on Orthic Luvisol on Research - experimental base of Agronomical Faculty of Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra - Dolna Malanta to study the influence of bicultural farming system on content and composition of humus. Deficitless balance in content of oxidizable carbon Cox was found out on variants without manuring and on variants with added plant residues + fertilizers (NPK), which was cultivated by combined mellower in subsoil. We realized, that in subsoil was on all variants increased of content of Cox. Better humus was created on variants cultivated by combined mellower
