2000
Kona, J. (Slovenska Polnohospodarska Univ., Nitra (Slovak Republic))
Cadmium aaplication to soil didn't caused marked reduction of leek leaf mass yield quantity, utilizable part of plant and creation of root part. Desulfovibrio desulfuricans bacteria application resulted in increased leaf mass yield quantity by 96.5% and utilizable part of leek by 148.92%. Regulation of pH value from 5.64 on the value pH=7.5 resulted in increased yield quantity (64-70% in average). The highest cadmium content was observed at root part. The lowest cadmium content was found at leaves, but during vegetation period it was changed and the lowest content of cadmium was obtained at the end of vegetation period. Desulfovibrio desulfuricans bacteria application and pH value regulation didn't caused meaningfull reduction of cadmium content in the plants
