Genotypic specificity regarding green plants regeneration in in vitro wheat anther culture

The objectives of the investigation were to assess randomly selected heterozygous wheat genotypes, F1 hybrids and their homozygous parents for the capacity to regenerate green plants and to establish the mode of inheritance for the capacity for androgenesis. The investigation indicated that the capacity to regenerate green plants is inherited intermediately, in the case of the combination SO-14-56 x Partizanka niska, or dominantly, in the case of the combinations Veery-4 x Jarka and Veery-4 x Novosadska jara.
