The weed vegetation of spring small grains in some locations of hilly-mountainous region of Serbia [Yugoslavia]

By phytocenological investigations at several locations of hilly-mountainous areas of Serbia (Yugoslavia), weed association ass. Galeopsi-Calystegietum sepii Stepic 1984, was established in spring small grains (spring wheat, spring barley and oats). This association consists floristically from 96 species. Characteristic (dominant) group consists of Galeopsis tetrahit, Calystegia sepium, Cirsium arvense, Convolvulus arvensis, Galium aparine, Polygonum convolvulus and Sonchus arvensis. The weed covering value of dominant species was 80% from total covering value association. Established association have terophytic character with significant participation of hemicryptophyte and geophyte. Species of floral elements with broad incidence dominate in this association.
