Authors are citing data about progressive life in Middle-Age-Serbia and UN and WHO relevant documents concerning the importance of preservation and promotion of rural health. Also, they are citing Yugoslav legal and planning documents for revitalization of rural settlements and rural area. It was point out the concept of sustainable development of rural regions by the year 2010, features of three types of households and agrocultural macro-regions, rural socio-economic and cultural progress. A particular emphasis is put on the importance of management of yard, healthy housing, drinking-water, disposal of human and animal excrete and of permanent professional and health education for healthy living and working styles.
