Methods of biotechnology are significant for genetic identification and evaluation of seed quality of vegetable and field plant species. They include biochemical-molecular markers on the level of protein (isozymes) and on the level of DNA (PCR, AFLP, RFLP). By ising their combinations the marking of linkage genes for certain traits of genotype in question is made possible. They are used for marking the qualitative and quantitative plants trais, their identification and evaluation of new genotype authority. Biotechnology expands its range of affection to genetic modifications of organisms and studies their appearance and identification.
