The impact of the biological insecticide NOVODOR FC-containing spores and toxin of Bacillus thuringiensis ssp.tenebrionis (B.t.t)-on first instar larvae of Colorado potato beetle was investigated.The susceptibility to B.t.t of three Hungarian Colorado potato beetle populations (from Debrecen, Mórhalom and Szombathely) was determined under laboratory conditions.A standardised bioassay method was applied which gave reproducable results.The data were evaluated using Probit regression analysis.Our biassay method proved suitable and the results can be used as a base for future monitoring (e.g.B.t.t susceptibility of populations in ecological farms after using NOVODOR FC over several years).
