Effect of microelement loads on the composition of maize and the readily available soil nutrient content on a calcareous chernozem
2000
Kádár,I. | Koncz,J. | Gulyás,F.
An experiment on microelement pollution was set up in 1991 on a calcareous chernozem soil formed on loess. The material and methods used in the experiment and the effects of the treatments on maize were reported in an earlier paper (Kádár et al., 2000).The present work discusses changes in other essential components of maize; the effect of rapid rinsing with tap water on the composition of aging leaves was examined, and an evaluation was made of soil analytical data and the results of soil biological tests (cellulose test, Azotobacter chroococcum test).
